We especially focus on the differences with previous analyses of the locative senses and the temporal senses of these prepositions. It is said that the gerund can express both a general situation and a concrete situation. This paper claims that these two patterns have an influence on how the temporal senses of at, on, and in followed by the gerund developed. As for the preposition at, not the sense of a point, which has been often discussed, but its abstract sense of a place plays an important role of introducing a situation loosely that the following gerund expresses.}, pages = {97--102}, title = {動名詞が後続する英語前置詞at, on, in の認知意味論的分析}, volume = {2}, year = {2023}, yomi = {タオ, シュンスケ} }
